Design Philosophy
Great design reminds me of a football center.
When the snap is clean and the timing is right, the play unfolds so naturally that no one even thinks about the person who started it. But the second that rhythm breaks, whether from a mistimed snap or a missed cue, the whole offense stumbles and the entire crowd feels the disruption.
Drummer by Night
Designer by day, drummer by night, and avocado cultivator in between. I play drums in Whole Hog, a Temecula-based rock band with a loyal local following. While the rock star dream has mellowed, music remains my favorite way to unplug and recharge.
Avocado Trees
My quiet obsession? Avocados. I’ve grown a grove from seed, each tree a small legacy project. One day, I hope my family will be swimming in guac. Follow their journey at @santiago.avocado.
